Get started with NZ Text in just a few simple steps

Sign Up & Request Device

Create your free account on NZ Text and request a device. The signup process is quick and easy - just provide your company details and contact information.

Receive Your Device

After requesting the device, it typically takes around 15 days to receive it. We ship to addresses in New Zealand and Australia. The device comes with NZD 200 credit pre-applied.

Insert Your SIM Card

Once you receive the device, insert your compatible SIM card. The device supports 2G, 3G, 4G, and LTE networks. Make sure your service provider is compatible with these technologies.

Add Device & Verify

Log into your dashboard and click on "Add New Agent" to register your device. You'll receive an OTP on your other personal number for verification. Complete the verification to activate your device.

Next Steps

Once your device is verified, you're ready to start sending SMS

Upload Templates & Contacts

Go to the SMS Template section and upload your message templates. Then navigate to Contacts and upload your contact list. You can publish all contacts at once or manage them individually.

Schedule SMS Messages

Navigate to Schedule SMS to set up automated messaging. You can schedule specific templates for particular dates and times, or set up monthly recurring messages for regular communications.

Enable API Integration

For developers and businesses wanting to integrate SMS functionality into their applications, go to the API section and enable API access. You'll get access to endpoints for:

  • Send SMS API endpoint
  • Send Bulk SMS API endpoint
  • Read SMS webhooks
